Yes I was The Owner of Vics Speed Shop.My Boy is now carrying on the Racing.I purchased Wess Perkins car 1967 Comaro named the little stinker and have been trying to get some pictures of it when it was black.I know the car also ran Dover when Wess Had It and When I had it.Bobby Mercer From Enfield Conn did the pait job and He ran the Frito Bandito Corvette. When I broke a wheel and lost it I had another person paint it and I regretted to this day.Glad to see people I knew that are still at it or as I did passed it on and watch. Thanks Vic

Thanks Rich. I'm still a bit fizzy though. I had a good buddy that lived in Stockport (off RT 9 just north of Hudson) and we hung around Hudson a lot (I grew up in Red Hook).
It's funny. Vic's is just at the edge of my memory but not entirely clear. Can you give me any better directions to bring it to the forefront?

Hello Jim,
My dad owned Vics Speed. His shop was at the Bellspond intersection just down the road from the Sunset Drive In. Also a shop in Pitsfield Mass. Vic

Hello Rich, The shop was as you thought. It had work bays and a parts show room. What I remember most is the floors where great for creeper races until my dad had enough. I will be talking to him this week and I will let him know you where asking. Vic
