Connecticut Dragway Reunion
June 18, 2012
The Connecticut Street Rod Association presents another night to remember. The Connecticut Dragway Reunion will once again be held at the Mountain Ridge Resort at the top of High Hill in Wallingford, CT. Exit 15 off of I-91. Gates officially open at 5:00 PM for participants with a "Cackle Fest" scheduled for 7:00 PM. Participants with their cars enter free, but can make a donation at the gate if they so desire. Spectators are $5.00 and all proceeds are donated to the Wallingford Wishing Well, which is an organization that aids needy familys.

The V-Man just checked in.He was car No.1 today getting there first at 3pm.at the Event. Says there is now over 700 cars in the lot. Parked next to Vinnie Lyons and his Cobra Jet. Our Race flyers are flying off his table too!. He'll post photos later when he gets home.

Just got home from the CT Dragway Reunion. What a great turn out !! Lots of
great cars. I caught up with V-Bob chilling out with Mike Leroux listening to the music sitting behind his Vega. It was a perfect night for a car show. Here's some pictures....

HOLY HOCKEY PUCKS!!!!! 780 cars!!!!!!!!!!Monday night!
50/50 was almost $700 and 2nd and 3rd prizes were $300 and change!!!!
Met Charlie from Oakdale ,Ct. he had pics of "The Little Giant" , Al Oakes 64 Chevy 409 Impala"The Growler" and Stan Adams "Slow Mo" fiat,put an order in for copies of those!
Tons of photos and mem. on display!!
Oh, food was great too !
Looks like BIGGER and better things instore for 2013!!!OH, talked to Wayne C. of the TV show Chasing Classic Cars , he told me some of the things he has on his "bucket list',one is driving a slat flats car, which he will do soon and will air on TV sometime!!!!Gotta get him in a drag car at The Valley!!!!I told him to go to the DDDS Race but hes busy at some other classic car thing on that weekend!!!

The V-Man was so excited, He called me Three times ! Awesome event...Dover Being Represented all over...just Heard from Bob Schlegel ,who just returned from Hot Rod Reunion ....We're making an impression ALL Over.
