Seriously,any 'idea' why the U.S. spent over 2 billion dollars to search a 'lifeless',baron' planet ? I think the time and money spent,should have been spent here on Earth,promoting jobs,alternate fuels,and medical research for alzheimers,cancer cures for instance.There looking for a 'possible' life,that once could have been there? There 'dreamers',I for one...could care less! My 'team' is 'Earth'! That's my 2 cents worth!

The service mgrs(where I work) brother was on the development team for the parachute that lowered it to mars. He lives near Hartford. Talk about anxiety! If that thing malfunctioned he would have been responsible for the crash :o
